Today,
the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is credited as the
world's leading catalyst in the fight against breast cancer
with more than 75,000 volunteers working through 118 Komen
Affiliates in communities nationwide, as well as international
Affiliates in Germany, Italy and Puerto Rico.
The survivors are the strength, hope, and inspiration for all
of us. We know we are on the right path when each year we see
more pink T-shirts (worn only by survivors) at the Komen CNY
Race for the Cure.
Each year, the Komen CNY Affiliate hosts a dinner to pay
tribute to our survivors. It is truly a celebration!

in the medical and scientific fields, sometimes the best
therapy is the knowledge we are not alone in this fight - together
we can make a difference.
