The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has made great progress in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Friends who have shared the vision of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation have become partners in advancing the mission of the Foundation. Together we have made tremendous progress. The generosity of our donors is vital as we continue our efforts to help breast cancer patients today, as well as to invest in the health of future generations.

What’s even more important than the money we raise is what we do with it. Our research and community outreach programs are unparalleled. We are extremely careful how we spend the dollars you entrust in our care. Seventy-five percent of the funds collected locally remain in Central New York and are used for our grants program and educational activities. The remaining twenty-five per cent goes to the national Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation where eighty-one cents of every dollar goes to the fight against breast cancer.
