Team Awards

The 2012 Susan G. Komen CNY Affiliate Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS! Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen CNY Affiliate Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 10 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.

Team Awards

Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Donation totals are calculated on the evening of Thursday, May 10th. Team members should continue to raise funds up until June 30, 2012 for individual pledge rewards. However, any donations or matching gifts* collected after the cut-off date will not be considered for award calculation purposes. (Please note: your registration fee is not counted in your fundraising total.)

We recognize the following Team efforts:

• Largest Team will be awarded the use of the Chevy Court Pavillion on Race Day and 2 onsite parking passes!
• The largest school affiliated team will be provided a 10 X 10 team tent on Race Day and 2 onsite parking passes!
• Teams raising more than $10,000 (not including registration fees) will be given use of a 15 X15 team tent on Race Day and 2 onsite parking passes!
• Teams raising more than $7,500 (not including registration fees) will be given use of a  10X10 team tent on Race Day  and 1 parking pass!

*Matching gifts are added to the total once payment has been received from your company.
