Kids for the Cure
Empowering the next generation in the battle against breast cancer.
You don’t have to be a grown-up to help fight breast cancer. Every kid registered for the 2012 Komen CNY Race for the Cure will receive a Race T-shirt, official bib and finisher's medal.
Please Note: All minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the event.
On Race Day, there will be a one-mile course with a start just for kids along with some special activities, crafts and entertainment. Kids can join in the flower-making, bubble art, and balloon fun. They can have their faces painted with breast cancer awareness symbols and othr designs or have special braids put in their hair. Kids can make their own impact on the cause and earn rewards for fundraising
